Our ethos is to provide clean and safe environment that is inclusive for everyone. We work closely with Emergency Services, Licensing, University Student Unions and Street Assist to ensure the experience we provide is done to the highest of standards.
Annual trips to the Las Vegas Nightclub and Bar Show allow us to develop the guest experience and invest in the latest technology and trends. This commitment to our guest experience and the development of our product, ensure that we deliver an unbeatable experience and has resulted in us achieving the Nightclub Of The Year Award for over 10 years.
For us Why Not isn't just a nightclub, it’s a community. A place where everyone from staff to guests are welcome, and we have worked hard to develop this community through a love for what we do. From the training and development of our staff, DJs and promoters to putting on weekly special events and watching the reaction of our guests when the confetti pops, these moments are what make it all worthwhile, and provide friends & memories that will last a lifetime!

Experience a unique perspective of the club as we get ready for a big night!
THE MAIN ROOM
The main room is the beating heart of the club with a custom built and wirelessly controlled led "grid" lighting system, C02 jets in the roof and state of the art Void Sound System.
The main room also has a large central dancefloor with four large on looking VIP booths that can be reserved for birthdays and other special occasions. Booking a table ensures, queue jump and table service all night long.
There are also two large cocktail bars either side of the main room so its easy to grab a drink without having to wait in queues for too long.
The LED room is the first of its kind in Scotland and was initially installed at Why Not back in 2013.
The LED room comprises of 25 million pixels which run videos and graphics on both walls and the ceiling, offering an immersive experience unlike anything else anywhere in the country.
Our resident DJs play a mix of hip hop and rnb every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The room is open to everyone but guests can reserve tables in advance and enjoy queue jump and table service all night.
THE LED ROOM
The Vault is the perfect place for those VVIP celebrations in Edinburgh.
The Vault has a full Void Sound system, club lighting, two large luxurious party booths, a custom built Glass floor and its very own bar for speedy service which saves waiting in queues.
Inspired by our trips the Las Vegas and Los Angeles the Vault offers something you wont find anywhere else.
THE VAULT
Our open air garden terrace is perfect for summer nights and drinks with friends but even when it rains our giant umbrellas cover the entire space so you won't get wet.
The garden has its very own cocktail bar and toilets which is a handy tip to know in case the main toilets inside are busy.
We play a mix of club classics, house and rnb in the garden with special guest appearances from various DJs and live performers from time to time.
